- Ranked now gives you three clear choices. Live Match waits for a real player online now, Ghost Match starts immediately against a recorded player run, and Practice gives you an unranked set with no Elo or season-record changes. An empty live queue never switches modes for you.

- Ranked results now teach after every duel. The full result screen appears immediately with your submitted answer, the correct answer, a chemistry summary, both players' accuracy and timing, and your Elo movement.
- Osmium and Iridium house opponents are now human-beatable. They remain strong and bounded, but no longer demand a flawless machine-speed run every game.
- Ranked now matches players live. After placement, two compatible players searching together enter the same room, race the same questions simultaneously, and see each other's progress in real time. If nobody joins within eight seconds, the search stops and lets you choose whether to try again or play a ghost.
- Recorded players stay in the fight too. The fallback prefers unseen player ghosts, can use a nearby-tier human run when the exact tier is empty, and allows a rematch on a later day before using a house bot.

- Ranked placement now learns your level. New players begin with an all-easy set and a gentle house opponent; 8–10 correct raises the next set one step, 6–7 holds, and 0–5 lowers it. All 10 placement duels use calibrated bots, and your final metal rank follows the level you actually demonstrated.
- The private Player Activity ledger now shows Ranked duels alongside classic quiz submissions, including opponent, result, accuracy, completion time, and Elo movement. Ranked records are read-only to protect ladder integrity.

- The private Admin Control Lab now has instant player search, access/form/ranked filters, current-season Elo ratings, metal badges, W–L–D records, peaks, ladder positions, and a mobile-friendly player management panel.
- Ranked now has a collapsible Metal Ladder — from Hydrogen placement through Iron, Copper, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Uranium, Osmium, and Iridium — with every badge presented as a premium ranked reward beside its Elo band.
- The Chemistry Quiz, Ranked Duels, and Leaderboard now share one lab-notebook design. Mobile play puts the question first, run tickets summarise every practice setup, and controls are larger and keyboard-friendly.
- 個 home page 全新設計 — 元素週期表式 Al 商標（A. Lam = 鋁，原子序 13）、實驗簿方格紙底、PHY／CHEM／BIO 顏色標籤，仲有 Ranked 金屬段位梯直接放上首頁。暑期課程資訊都更新埋。
- Ranked 段位有靚 badge 喇 — 每個 tier 都係佢隻金屬嘅真實質感：啞面 Iron、暖銅 Cu、亮銀 Ag、金 Au、冰 Pt、發光鈾玻璃 U、重感藍 Os、同埋 Iridium 嘅七彩虹光（佢個名就係嚟自彩虹女神 Iris）。Placement 期係一片未成形嘅 Hydrogen 玻璃。
- Ranked 題目而家同 casual quiz 一樣有顏色提示 — 橙 = 原子序、綠 = 名、紫 = symbol／化學式，一眼睇到條題問乜。
- Ranked 對戰而家由 server 逐題派發、計時同核對。中途離開再返嚟會接住原本進度；答案同對錯等成場完結先一次過顯示。

- New ⚔ Ranked Duels — 全港化學排位賽。10 題限時對決：你同另一位玩家嘅「ghost」鬥同一組題目，鬥快鬥準。似 chess 咁用 Elo 排位：Iron → Copper → Silver → Gold → Platinum → Uranium → Osmium → Iridium 八個金屬段位，頭 10 場係 placement（Hydrogen）。題目難度跟段位升級，答案全部喺 server 核對。而家係 private beta（ALAM ✓ 會員先玩得住，好快開放）。開始排位 →
- Leaderboards now have an All-time / This season toggle — seasons run in school-year quarters (現時係 S0 Beta，9 月開 S1)，季尾排名鎖定，季初可以重新爬。

- The quiz now accepts answers typed on a Chinese keyboard — fullwidth characters like ＳＯ３ count the same as SO3, so a right answer is never marked wrong because of the input method.
